It’s a Funny Story (American Folk Art Museum)

I make a promise with myself. At least by Friday, I will visit all 3 museums and I was really close. There was only one more left: the American Folk Art Museum. I walk around and around, and for some reason I couldn’t find it. But then I turn around I see the museum’s name in huge font. How did I miss it!? Unfortunately, it turns out that the museum is closed temporarily for the installation of a new collection, but on the bright side the shop is open. That is still considered art, right? The area was decorated with tons of Christmas spirit and handmade creations. I got a feel for the museum by looking at the books containing paintings that were featured before. I was even able to peak through the walls to see some of the upcoming exhibit. Although the museum was closed, looking at the shop was a lot of fun (the merchandise was way too expensive to purchase).
