So… How Do We End This Semester?

Before I took this class, I thought that we would just be learning about well… the arts in New York City. I did not expect that I would learn so much about climate change and the science behind it. Before taking this class, I did not think that it was even possible to make art out of something like climate change. Even though I still have a lot to learn about the issue, I know that I have a much greater understanding of it now than before I took the course.

I also was surprised by how much fun I had this semester. Words cannot explain how worried I was about how my first semester would turn out. Even though the workload could be challenging, I found myself enjoying it (for the most part = ]). I particularly enjoyed learning how to use iMovie for the Where I’m From project. Before, taking this course, I never used iMovie. It’s great to know that I have acquired a new skill.

Overall, this semester was nothing like I thought it would be. I mean that in a good way! I really have learned so many new things this semester. I am glad to have been exposed to so many different opportunities this semester. I just hope that next semester will be as great as this one!
