Le Opera

Well I really enjoyed the night of the opera. It was a great way to end the class. Everyone was able to be there and what seemed like for once we were all together! The night was just absolutely amazing. One of he best parts about it was being surrounded by my friends and just being entertained the whole night: by the food, the sights, the singing and just the entire opera.

The opera itself was beautiful. I couldn’t help but think WOW these binoculars actually work. I was able to see each characters facial expressions, and see almost every detail on stage. One of my favorite parts was when the children were in the witches house. It was just very entertaining and pretty funny.

It was pretty interesting to me how Hansel was being played by a girl, and the witch by a man but that just made it that much better! I can’t say I’m completely into operas now but for my first time, I think it went pretty well.
