Museum of Natural History

The Museum of Natural History was a huge building I had visited several times before. This time, I focused on the Mammals section. They were exhibits of realistic sculptures that you could see through glass windows. They were 3D, both frozen in a fleeting moment. It was like a 3 dimensional picture. There were so many different exhibits, such an elephant and a rabbit hiding from a mountain cat. It was fascinating to see what roamed the lands before humans developed it. I saw reindeer and jaguars and more big, intimidating creatures.

There were all kinds of people at the museum, it was open to everyone. I love the two dinosaur skeletons in the front, because they looked like they could fall on me at any given time. We also saw exhibits of old civilizations. They went back to ancient Japan and North America, displaying scenes such as hunting and artifacts such as pots, artwork, and furniture. It was great to see how everything had changed since then. It is a great place to go to for people who like history or anthropology.
