Emptiness is full. Fullness is empty.
We depend on happiness. It is not completely wrong to say the whole journey of our lives is to seek the “true” happiness. When we are babies, we seek our parents, milk, or toys. When we are teenagers, we seek friends, love, or electronic devices. When we are adults, we seek comfort, stability, money, fame, or a spouse. We live in an adventure for happiness. Seeking the happiness, we often get discouraged because either we have the happiness or we don’t. Doesn’t it sound absurd? We will be unhappy either we have the things we want or not. This quote reminds us that the emphasis shouldn’t be on getting what we want. Wanting what we get, in other words, appreciating what we have is the start to happiness. Emptiness is full. Fullness is empty. I once again empty my heart to fill it up.
