Nothing but the facts
I’ve been noticing a trend. At first, I was extremely interested and enthusiastic about climate change; over time my excitement has been slowly going downhill. But I think I know why. This is the line that revealed the answer, “….we think the climate crisis is only out there someplace else… it is inside of us.” When we get introduced to anything, we become intrigued and curious, especially with climate change I was thinking, “Lets save the universe, the world, and some cows!” But let us seriously think about this topic; saving the world isn’t easy at all. Someone else isn’t going to find that one solution, we ourselves have to make the solution, the sacrifices. In other words, “It is inside of us.”
Third world countries are becoming greatly hit by droughts, which is only going to get worse. But we continue on with our cars, our beliefs that our resources are infinite. This is our culture of the American dreams and endless possibilities. But the world is a mortal thing transforming by its surroundings and increase in carbon dioxide. Something needs to change and it isn’t going to be the facts.
