Unfair

“How will the countries that are affected the worst take the fact that the countries most responsible get positive benefits like those? It’s quite worrying. There is an increased risk of conflict stemming from a sense of injustice.” pg 278

This issue was touched upon many of our readings and videos. But this just hit me. Countries that are causing the most damage will be reaping the benefits will other innocent countries will pay the price. How in the world is that fair. It’s really unfortunate how things work out in the end. How will it feel when we are enjoying the warmer winters while people in eastern hemisphere are dying because of the lack of water? It is disgusting. I know it is too late to change what is going on now but I have hope that our future actions will be large enough to lessen this unfair effect in the world.

It’s also sad how we can think there are “benefits” of global warming. Having warmer winters is nice, but it is in no way shape or form worth climate change. It is nor worth overlooking the horrible effects happening right now. I really don’t want other people to be punished for our actions. I really don’t.
