A Whole New World

 Hi my name is Lisa! I don’t really like writing about myself, but.. here’s some background info: I was born in Guyana, but I grew up in Queens. I attended Cardozo High School, where I ran track for basically 4 years. In my spare time I enjoy reading, sleeping, eating, and staying active any way I can. 

 As I scrolled through the syllabus, I was shocked to see that the activities planned for the semester are quite intriguing to me. I am actually excited to go to the opera, and expand my knowledge in the arts through different media outlets. The Japanese tea ceremony is one activity that I am greatly looking forward to! Learning about new cultures and ideas is very fascinating to me, and it has always been very enjoyable. Needless to say I can’t wait to explore the art of making tea. Well, Adios for now!
