Time for Action

First off it is a breath of fresh air to hear that although we have waited too long to solve the climate change crisis that something can be done. Being able to convert sunshine into usable energy in a faster and cheaper way will be very beneficial. Knowing that the world can cutback on using fossil fuels and coal, is truly inspiring. It makes me want to take the challenge because I believe that things can actually change… if we allow it to. We are no longer wondering how to switch from energy to solar energy, or from nonrenewable resources to renewable resources. Now it is no longer about the answer, it is about putting that answer into action.

What actually surprised and angered me was reading about the Koch Industries. It is not enough that they have contributed to the destruction of our planet, but now they intentionally want to stop the progress being made to limit climate change. The fact that this company uses its power to manipulate other companies, spread disinformation about the climate crisis and intimidate political candidates who actually support the improvements is quite horrendous. We are at a point in time where there is no more denying global warming, For these big companies who thrive on fossil fuels, and coal to continue what there doing is just unbelieveable. It just continues to anger me knowing that these people want to continue doing what they’re doing, and with that continue destroying mother Earth.
