Face it.

This section included the idea that we have to face reality. Climate Change is real.

It frustrates me because we live in a society today where everything we could possibly think of is dumbed down, sugarcoated, or false by omission.  Look at our current events; racism is a hot topic in the news now.  But as more cases get popular, the court is releasing less and less information, and schools aren’t even allowed to talk about them.  Our whole lives are set up from a very young age to try to see things better than they are.  Everything is dumbed down so simpler terms and then manipulated to hide the awful truth.  Lets just face it.

We live in the 21st century yet the hereditary color of someone’s skin still has an effect on how they’re treated in society.

Species are dying off at absurdly high and alarming rates.

Giant ice caps that should be able to house hundreds of species are disappearing.

Ocean levels are getting higher yet commercial fishing is emptying out every body of water accessible.

The Earth is getting warming.

We’re trapping ourselves in an atmosphere of what can kill us.

I would say that things can only get better from here but they would be a lie because things can definitely get worse.  Its already been established that we can reverse it now, just stop it from going any further.

What’s at stake?

Everything.
