The Met with my mom

It was a date with my mom on a Saturday on a rainy day to the Met. I decided to spend some time with my mom and visit a museum.

The Metropolitan Museum had many collections that are from all the places in the globe. It displayed almost every culture of the world, starting from the Western to Eastern, and from Southern to Northern. It was as if I went on a trip around the world in a day.

I couldn’t look at all the sculptures and collections in one day; however, it was a good time to just have a nice chat about and observation of the displayed artworks. I think the art makes the atmosphere and the mood better when two people go together. It is a memory and a subject of conversation.

We usually tend to interpret the artwork and go deep into it. But, I believe that sometimes it is also helpful to just walk through to get the feel of it and strike a conversation with an important person in your life.
