Art Is Autonomous, Art Is Dependent

 

 

 

 

Art is autonomous. Like many animals, this bee is autonomous because it has the freedom to move around on its own will. It also has the freedom to choose its food source as it moves from flower to flower. The bee uses its little wings to fly from the honeycomb to anywhere in the city. It is not dependent upon anything besides its wings.

 

 

 

Unlike the bee however, this vine does not have the ability to move around because it is tied to the roots. The vine is dependent of the wall because the roots on the vine absorb water from the wall when it rains. It also grows on the wall which supports the vine. Once the plant covers the wall, it will looks for another host or wall to grown on. Art is dependent.
