General Questions
How long has Science Forward existed?
Science has always been a part of Macaulay’s core curriculum, originally as the course “Science and Technology in NYC.” In early 2013, we began an effort to revitalize and refocus the science curriculum around science skills. Faculty from diverse fields came together to organize the framework and the pilot versions of Science Forward were run in Fall 2013 and Spring 2014.

There are many ways you could assign your Instructional Technology Fellow to help you manage your course. Previous faculty have done some of the following: 1) Ask your ITF to help you research class activities or research tools for your Science Forward course projects; 2) Ask your ITF to help implement digital tools for your class; 3) Ask your ITF to consult with students about analysis methods in their research projects.
These are just a few ideas, hopefully they give you a good starting place.
