Hey hey. My name is Nicholas Sanso but Nick works just as well. I grew up in Staten Island but now live in the baruch housing on 97th street and 3rd avenue. I really can’t mention the building without mentioning the people, who are the coolest group of kids I’ve ever met. So yea, its been a nice change of scenary considering there is not much to do back home.
But we made do in Staten Island. I played football and ran track, three years on each team to be exact. Like every athlete, I had a pretty serious love-hate-relationship with my teams. They would work me to death every day and in return I would get…well, just exhausted really. It was an awesome deal. Obviously. Still, it had its upsides. Tons of the kids I played with on those teams came here to Macaulay as I’m sure many of you guys have realized.
Aside from school I have a pretty long list of experiences before the start of next year. A sort of year’s-end bucket list if you will. At the top of the list is paintball and level 5 white water rafting (if you’re going to do it, do it big).
I’d also love to go skydiving. It looks like a lot of fun although I do sometimes have a fear of heights. If near the end of the year if I happen to have time, I also want to go rock climbing.
Although this year wasn’t too bad itself, went to Argentina with my sister and cousins. Here I am climbing on a glacier at the southern tip of Argentina. 🙂
