  1. Liked Armstrong’s quote in the beginning: it was a nice touch. Was the theme getting to where you want to go ? I liked all the different clips you had and how you edited them

  2. I am super impressed. Admittedly, I didn’t really understand what was happening in the beginning, but once the voices started taunting your characters, I understood that they were stuck in a loop and had no idea how to get out. The contrast between the two characters made me think that maybe there were two realities, and the characters were occupying similar settings in different spaces, and if the realities could merge, they would meet. The editing was amazing–you guys have a really strong grasp on iMovie, and the music added significantly to the experience. Really well done, you guys.

  3. The editing seemed really well done. While it was unclear at first why they were running up and down the stairs, it became evident right away. I also liked how at the end they occupied the same room, but they were alone at the same time.

  4. This video is really great! I really liked how that Armstrong quote at the beginning kicked it all off. You guys clearly took the time to learn iMovie. The constant loop on the staircase made me think of some sort of chase, where one person is trying to reach the other, but ends up alone. It reminded me a lot of Gregor’s experience, especially at the end. After the transformation, he is coexisting in the same flat as his whole family for a long period of time, yet he is completely alone. They share the same space, but can never meet or connect.

  5. I love this!! It is such an interesting idea. You guys took a different approach and it was cool to see after being stuck in the never ending stairwell for you both to find your way. Really interesting and really cool audio. Awesome job.

  6. I am addicted to the background music. The editing is so professional. The setting is simple but the theme is really deep: where do you want to go? It’s like people are busy with their lives. They are running, catching up with the train, and working like a machine , but they never know where they want to go. I think Gregor has that feeling, too. He does not even think about his personal interests and goals. He is keeping himself busy for his family.

  7. I must have watched this video ten times, really interesting and a great use of iMovie! Loved the idea of the staircase!
