The Arts in New York City

Hello everyone!

Snapshot NYC: Instructions on where to upload your photos for the Macaulay exhibition were sent to your macaulay.cuny.edu e-mail address. In addition to uploading your photo for the common event, we are doing some additional stuff with the photos as a class. We’re going to be making a quick-and-easy custom Google Map, using your photos to build a visual map of your experiences of the city.

So in addition to sending your photos to the MHC staff, please e-mail them to lindsey.freer@gmail.com. Please include either a short write-up of your experience of taking the photograph, or make a brief audio recording (.mp3 format) of your experience. I’ll be putting these into a custom map, which I’ll then post to the blog. If you want to work on the map too, please e-mail me, and I’ll tell you how to access it!

Office Hours: I’ll be holding office hours both Nov. 12 (10-12:30) and Nov. 13 (hours TBD), but then I’m leaving town for a conference and the holiday. I will check my e-mail periodically while I’m out. Office hours will resume Nov. 26. You are, as always, welcome to set up an appointment should my office hours conflict with your course schedule!
