Day#11 Laundry, Brunch, Aquarium!

Did my laundry today~ Paid 1,000 won and I had bought detergent from Daiso previously for 2,000 won, so I threw my machine washable clothes into the wash and let it spin while I watched a movie for class. I hung my clothes instead of drying them with a dryer because it had already felt dry with a hint of moisture. My friends told me that the dryer doesn’t work so well and still feels wet after one spin anyways. So I hung my clothes because they gave us a clothes rack. I didn’t put my hand wash clothes in though, because I don’t want them to get ruined~! I went out for brunch with the friend that hurt her ankle, but she said that it’s more of a pulled muscle on her foot then her actual ankle, so thank God for that! I had a Vanilla Ice latte, which was delicious and a cream cheese bagel. She ordered a hot vanilla latte and some cheesecake!

We waited until 4pm to head out so that everyone could catch up on their school work. Grabbed some snacks from Paris Baguette and headed to the Coex Aquarium. It took us about ~1hr to get to the Coex Mall by bus. When we were outside, there were kids who saw us as foreigners and did rock paper scissor to see which one had to approach my friends. Some spoke really good English though and they explained that if we helped put a sticker on their board, it was like 1,000 won or something like that. They do that in Hong Kong too, except we had to donate money. My friend and I waited for two of us who were in the bathroom, but we look Asian, so they spoke to us in Korean. I just said “So we just put the sticker on?” They are for different purposes, like one was for African children and the other was for North Korean refugee kind of thing. I also wrote on a board “Sharing is love and sacrifice for others <3.” Cute children~ The aquarium was amazing. We saw more than just fish. We saw spiders, snakes, lizards, and mammals. COOL STUFF~ We spent about an hour and a half or so looking at everything and being amazed. I love aquariums, and sometimes the feeling is just indescribable. It’s almost magical ^^. We took the long ride back home, ate some street food, and came back to our dorms. Tired!

Advice:

-Bring snacks in your bag! Most places don’t check ^^

-Go to the aquarium!

-Take lots of pictures and enjoy the sights 🙂
