I’m recently back from giving a presentation on the Macaulay Eportfolios at the National Collegiate Honors Council Conference (NCHC), which was held in Washington, DC this year. I was on a panel with Joe Ugoretz, MHC’s Director of Technology and Learning, as well as Tyler Alterman from the class of 2012. We got to talk about the process of choosing WPMU for our eportfolios, implementing them, providing training through workshops and tech fairs, and Tyler gave a great talk on the ways that he has used his eportfolio and BuddyPress. Being at the conference was a good reminder of some of the ways in which MHC is unique: our seven campuses, our laptop program, Instructional Technology Fellows, and an institutional interesting in having public-facing and open-source projects. I am really proud to be part of the MHC community!
