Urban Legends
Today we bring you Urban Legends, the blog of Dasi Fruchter, Queens ’12, in which she chronicles her study abroad experience in London.
Her blog is a great read–part travelogue, part reflection, and I’m anxiously awaiting the addition of recipes. (Should we expect any less from one of the organizers of CUNY Food Fest?)
Check out her thoughts on Honey Nut Shredded Wheat, theater, and the advantages of being kosher and sober.
One Seminar, One Site, Many Approaches
Prof. Healey’s 2010 Seminar 1 class built an impressive eportfolio with video projects, a photojournal, lots of blog posts, some useful tutorials from their ITF Tsai-Shiou Hsieh, and more.
Listen to students reflecting on the multimedia film project–including bloopers.

A Professor Studies Abroad
While many of our eportfolios are done by students and in conjunction with classes, our open system welcomes everyone in the MHC community to take part. Professor Gary Schwartz of Lehman College chronicled his trip to Asia in an eportfolio featuring lots of pictures and vivid descriptions of his adventures.
Lilach’s AUsome Phonetics Tutorial
Lilach Gez is a 2013 Brooklyn College Speech-Language pathology major. Her AU enthusiasm is for her goal of becoming an audiologist and her study abroad trip to Australia. Check out her trip timeline made with Dipity and her great Hour in a Minute tutorial on phonetics.
