Changes Faced by New York City due to COVID-19
Group Members: Steven Shvarts, Tiffany Tsang, Kaven Cao, Sophia Kobzarenko
We researched the different changes in New York City imposed by the pandemic. We looked at the changes in air quality, wildlife, and overall future impacts. The group determined that there has been an improvement in air quality and increase in wildlife encounters. This could be explained by the decrease of human activity in New York City. In the future, if the pandemic continues, we will continue to see these changes although possibly at a smaller degree, as people learn to adapt to the situation.
