Access to clean and sanitary drinking water is a fundamental and indispensable human right. Yet, the safety and quality of our drinking water remains a leading public health issue in the United States. This study consolidates data from the NYC 2019 Drinking Water Supply Quality and Report and assesses the levels of four parameters: aluminum, chromium, zinc and pH from several faucets and public fountains in New York City.
