This study seeks to answer these questions through a look at antecedent research postulate the problem with honeybee safety. Apis mellifera, otherwise known as the western honey bee, have faced increasing stressors in the past few decades. Their population has been decreasing for years. Attributions include parasites, urbanization, pesticide usage, and abnormal climate patterns. Based on a multitude of findings, we predict that human involvement is a primary factor of honey bee population plight. In an overwhelming amount of studies, we have found that threats to the western honey bee could be linked back to human interference and interaction with the natural world to varying degrees.

  1. Hey guys!! I agree, save the bees! I have some background knowledge into how important honey bees are to the health of the planet, so your research points some very important factors into how human interference plays a role, whether directly or indirectly. The impact that global warming and its impact on seasonal weather and seasonal temperatures was especially interesting to see. Research like yours could increase the care that people have for conserving and growing our bee populations to benefit our planet!
