Seed Dispersal is essential to the continuity of the plant kingdom. If seeds do not properly disperse through birds, plants will grow in a single area and die out sooner due to light and resource competition. These plants benefit the birds through providing them with a source of food and nutrition. In our study, we are discovering the relationship between the American Robin and American Pokeweed specifically in Manhattan through using data from iNaturalist. By collecting the data and organizing the number of observations each year through charts and graphs on google sheets we were able to identify the trends and takeaways of the relationship.

Our intention for our viewers is to understand how each species benefit off each other for their own survival. As well as this, we hope for the viewers to be able to understand through our data the consistent trend of pokeweed observations increasing after robin observations peak in the spring over the past few years.

We would also like to thank our Professor, Zachary Calamari, for his guidance and assistance throughout the creation of this poster.
