Hedda Gabler in the 1890’s Mood Board

Victorian Era fashion, gender roles, setting, and atmospheric look for Hedda Gablers set design and narrative.

This design board shows in depth fashion for men and women in the Victorian Era. It also showcases the atmospheric look if I were to design the piece myself. I embodied loneliness, isolation, and misery through a dark atmospheric look to showcase how gender roles affected women in this Era. Lastly, I included images for the setting as well as symbolic images to help further/drive the narrative of the play.
