Yet Another Thing To Love

Today, I watched Howl’s Moving Castle. And just so you know, this is NOT a review.

First off, I love Hayao Miyazaki. I think he’s a genius. I love his films. One of my favorites from my childhood is Kiki’s Delivery Service. I stated in an earlier post that I adore the town Kiki lives in and that it is my dream town.

Now, this movie, Howl’s Moving Castle, is testing my love for Kiki. The story was touching, the characters were undeniably cute, and the setting was quaint. The perfect recipe for a terrific movie. I love the towns they were in. They were inspired by Alsace, France, specifically Colmar. Now, I really want to study abroad and travel!

Characters I adored: Calcifer was too adorable! And of course Howl is a dashing young fellow. He’s handsome. That’s what I call a crush on a cartoon character. I wasn’t ever annoyed at the main girl, Sophie, which is great because a lot of times, the main girls in movies annoy me. Actually, I liked her. And Markl was cute too. But my favorite character of all would have to be Turnip-head, the scarecrow. I knew I loved him at first sight!

I am running out of fluffy positive adjectives to continue rambling. My drivel must come to an end now.

But all in all, I think you should watch this movie when you get the chance to. It’s really great. And if you’re curious about my personality, you should definitely watch it! Even if you’re studying or doing something important. Just stop, procrastinate, and watch. Just as I did all today.

Hehe :D
