I’m Lisa and it has been my pleasure to be the professor of the Macaulay seminar “Imagining Gender: Exploring Narrative of Technology.” Teaching this course has been a splendid opportunity to blend my research interests in gender, sexuality, and literature, with my pedagogical work focused on integrated technology in the classroom and digital literacy. This class has been part of the FemTechNet 2013 DOCC (Distributed Online Collaborative Course). I came to the semester with a set of ideas and hopes, and the students have transformed those into this project. I’d like to give an especially big thank you to my Instructional Technology Fellow, Emily Sherwood, whose guidance and advice have been instrumental for students, and essential for me. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful semester.
