Life is like a mirror-you always get a better result when you smile into it.

My name is Aleksandra Sher and I can honestly say that I’m an optimist. I always look to find the brighter side of things, or the silver lining. Except in my case, I transform that lining into a crouchet pattern which very quickly threatens to take over the whole pillow! I find that this outlook helps me get the best out of life and am always encouraging my friends to try and do the same-but it’s not as easy as it seems! I am looking forward to the college experience as a chance to learn new things, meet new people and make memories which will last a lifetime. Though I have a habit of getting into my studies, I have made it my goal to leave more time for fun. I enjoy going on adventures which range from operas and museums to roller coasters and ice skating. I am always open to new things and manage to laugh when I may be making a fool out of myself…slightly! I aspire to be an investment banker (not just for the money, I actually like it) and hope that I can combine that dream with the one of a family and several children. At the least, I look forward to trying it out.
