The Parachute Jump was created in 1939 and moved to Coney Island in 1941. It stopped operating in the 1964 when the park it was a part of (Steeplechase) closed. It was made a national and Coney Island landmark in the 1980’s.
Deno’s Wonder Wheel has been rotating since 1920. It is still fully functional today.

The Cyclone is a famous wooden roller coaster located in Coney Island. It was first operated in 1927 and was made a landmark of Coney Island in 1988. The Cyclone was made a national landmark in 1991. You can ride the historic roller coaster for $8.
