Paste from Word

Sometimes its easier to write your pages in Microsoft Word, copy the text, and then paste it into the eportfolio text editor.  This is great practice. Not only does this give you a backup copy, but you get to use all of Word’s great formatting tools like tables, bullet points, and such.  The only problem is that when you paste from Word it can often include all sorts of undesirable tags and text.

It is therefore best when pasting from Word to use the eport text editor’s paste from Word utility.  To access the utility click on the “Paste from Word” link on the text editor’s toolbar.

You will next see what looks like a pop-up window

Paste your text into the window using <apple> + v.  When you are done click on the “Insert” button.
