I chose this tracksuit ensemble as it reminded me of a similar pair I had at home.  It’s a shame I never wear this set as how it should be. I often choose to wear the two items separately as I find wearing them together is a bit too flashy for me.  I found it fascinating that what began as something that was purely a functional piece for athletes to wear over their sports uniforms for their warm ups and cool downs has evolved into a cult favorite that has graced fashion runways by labels like Gucci. It was a nice surprise reading that Bruce Lee was actually one of the first to popularize the track suit by wearing it in a television crime drama. Since then, the tracksuit has been spotted on the likes of Missy Elliott, Eminem, and Rihanna.
