In response to faculty requests, we have implemented annual Faculty Symposia.  The symposia are generally one-day events held at Macaulay, and address issues common to faculty working across all of our seminars in a collegial environment.  Topics are announced in advance and have included issues such as:

  • How do I incorporate writing best practices into science courses?
  • How do I use my tech fellow to best support my aims in the Seminar?
  • How do I protect students’ privacy and intellectual property while web-publishing freely?
  • What are some of the latest tech tools to enhance undergraduate research in my course?

Your colleagues and some outside experts will address these issues and more.
