In regards to what you said about Petit’s friends – what amazed me most was how well they remembered the event. In the interviews they remembered everything of the day from the small to large details. Watching Annie Alix and her expression as she recalled the famous day was powerful to say the least. The way her eyes widened and facial expression changed as she said “it was so beautiful” … I can only hope something as memorable, that I will be able to remember like that, will happen in my lifetime.
alexanderleggParticipantI agree – the documentary was stunning and the amount of original footage they had from the stunt itself really made the film. I have an incredible fear of heights and the visuals in the film were so realistic that I found my palms become sweaty as I watched the documentary. Even now thinking about Philippe Petit walking between the two buildings my heart beats a little faster. Overall, the seemingly infinite challenges faced by Petit and his group were overcome as he succeeded.

alexanderleggParticipantSo cool! Definitely a great idea for a nice day. Amazing pictures and incredible views. Thanks for sharing Joe!!
alexanderleggParticipantI agree, this performance was powerful. The conversations the “younger” versions of the actors had with the “older” versions especially struck me. It made me think of myself as a child, and what would that younger self say to the present day me.
The combination of media in the show was incredible as well. The various cameras and TV screens gave the show many dimensions, angles, and perspectives for those in the audience.
