Mother’s Day is coming up soon!

11 05 2012

Hi guys! Mother’s Day is right around the corner! What are you planning to do for this special day? I have nothing planned yet… Yet… hmm, maybe I’ll do some cooking, haha. That will be very interesting, wouldn’t it?

Anyhow, the following is a treat from The Jubilee Project. I was really touched by what this video showed. In case you’re wondering, the older version of the kid is Jason Lee. The scene shown actually happened when Jason was really young. I hope you share this to many other people!

This video made me think about how little I show my appreciation for my mom, or even my parents in general. They have done so much for me, watching me every step of the way while I grew up. They were so sacrificial as well. I remember one time when I had a wish list of sorts in book orders when I was in junior high school and just circled those things. I was only curious about much of those items but my dad bought every single one of those items. I was surprised and at the same time really happy. As for my mom, she always cooks for my family and makes sure the house is clean and organized. Not a day goes by without me seeing my parents smiling even despite the stress they’ve gone through in making sure we’re happy.

I’ve found so much love from them.

The song in this video is by Jennifer Chung, and is titled “Common, Simple, Beautiful.” This song was made back in 2008, but she made a music video in mid-April. The video can be seen below.

This video was dedicated to her own loving mother as well.

So, do you guys have any stories about your own mother or parents in general? I would love to hear them.
