Tech Talks and webcasting events

In 2010, we launched a series of talks, featuring guest speakers from Queens College and elsewhere, discussing innovations involving technology and pedagogy. These talks are routinely webcast live (when speakers agree) and recordings or other materials are made available online. In addition to these Tech Talks, we have archived video of other events we have hosted recently:

– May 3, 2013, innovation showcase (http://ctl.qc.cuny.edu/innovation-with-and-without-technology-a-teaching-learning-showcase-may-3-2013/)

– January 29, 2014, new faculty orientation

Related to this is the routine advice we provide departments and individuals interested in webcasting/recording events. We have sometimes agreed to provide support for webcasts or recordings of events such as the annual Neuropsychology Research Day, events organized by the Latin American and Latino Studies Program, and events organized by the Experiential Education group at Queens College.
