Teaching and Learning Commons: A Resource for the Hostos Community College English Department
The Teaching & Learning Commons is a WordPress site, hosted on the platform of Hostos’s social network, that was designed to support full- and part-time faculty members teaching and students taking courses in the English department at Hostos Community College. The site supplements the main departmental page and provides models for course syllabi; a forum for best practices; course-specific reference materials for faculty members and students; links to stable online versions of texts commonly assigned in English courses at Hostos; and updates about events of interest for the department and literary community at large.
