My name is Tida Choomchaiyo. I am a second generation Thai American. I live on the border of Jackson Heights and Elmhurst, both of which are highly multicultural neighborhoods in Queens. My interests include art, singing, dancing, playing Mario Kart Double Dash and tennis - real tennis not wii. As for music, I think it's quite evident which kind I like...just listen!
Currently, I work at Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation, which offers high quality sports and arts instruction, as well as exciting field trips and academic guidance to students from low-income backgrounds. I am the assistant summer program coordinator. My duties consist of picking up phone calls, advising parents of what opportunities to take advantage of, screening employment applications, scheduling trips, creating budget charts and other administrative tasks.
I may seem shy, quiet and reserved at first to new friends, but once you get to know me, you will see that I am quite the opposite.
