Forest Hills is, as all New York neighborhoods are, served by the New York City Department of Education. There are multiple public schools to attend in Forest Hills including elementary schools:

The schools are diverse
The Forest Hills Elementary Schools are highly-ranked and offer quality education[1].
There are also several private schools for grades K-12[2]:

The only public middle school is Junior High School 190 Russell Sage
Forest Hills High School serves Forest Hills as well as Rego Park, although students from all over Queens attend this exemplary high school. The high school offers a variety of activities and classes[3]. For its foreign students, it has an English as a Second Language Program (ESL). The percentage of white students in the student body has decresed recently from 41.2% (2005) to 37.4% (2008)[4]. Meanwhile, the Hispanic and Asian populations are increasing.
