Effect of Human Population Density on the Health of Black Oak Trees

This project was a comparative study of parks in Brooklyn and Long Island to determine effects on the health of Black Oak trees.

Members – Agampreet Singh, Adnaan Syed, Caroline Gerber, & Joseph Gonzalez

Under the direction of Professor Zolkower and TLC Freida, this project was conducted within two parks; one in Brooklyn, and one in Long Island. This group worked to survey the health of Black Oak Trees in these areas to determine an effect of human population density on the health of those trees, and thus the effect of humans on the trees around us.
