The Effect of Commercialization and Industrialization on the Presence of Norway Rats in NYC

Norway rats, or brown rats, are one of the most common animals roaming New York City. Does an increase in commercial activity impact the prevalence of these creatures in our city?

Description: This project is about the impact of commercial activity and industrialization on Norway rats in New York City. Through data analysis, we were able to conclude that Norway Rats have easily become members of the New York City community and are able to live amongst humans and adapt to a metropolitan lifestyle.
