Jalan~A Bollywood Adaptation of Othello

When the “perfect” Deepika elopes with a handsome low level soldier, Sushant Singh, her promiscuous and jealous step mother, Madhuri, meticulously frames her for sleeping with Sushant’s wealthy best friend, Ranbir.

A Keystone Species is in Danger

We delved into Antarctic krill as a keystone species and how climate change, along with human activities, are disrupting their ecosystem and could eventually cause several species extinctions.

A Round Trip to the City

Follow along as you listen to the sounds compiled on a trip to Manhattan. Use the arrows to direct you across the soundscape and make sure to look and listen for overlapping sounds!

Our zine cover portrays two sides of the same road with both sides exploring aspects of accessibility in the pandemic. On one side of the road, we show a library with signs promoting book-drop offs, a church offering free meals and supplies, and a restaurant setting up outdoor dining. On the other side of the road, we have a public park with hand sanitizer dispensers and tables with wipes and laptops for free use. On the road itself, we show five individuals of different ability, gender, and racial identities.

The Road to Accessibility: Pandemic Edition

Quaran-Zine is a collection of artistic and literary representations of the pandemic’s impact on our lives and understanding of NYC. We explore the accessibility of spaces throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Impact of Social Media on the Behavior of the Youth and the Physiology of the Brain

We investigate the effects of social media on the psychology of the youth as well as how the COVID-19 pandemic comes to play a significant role during such times.

Clean Drinking Water: A Pipe Dream?

This project examines the quality of New York City tap water in both residential and public water systems during the years 2019-2020. Research members performed water tests of various faucets and public fountains and compared the results to 2019 data from the New York City Department of Environmental Protection.
