Our project presents different forms of art as well as different styles. As a group we learned that everyone views art differently; it may be because of the background one has, the opinion one has before viewing an artwork, or it might just be the angle one is viewing it from. This project was designed to share our views and see what the viewers of our project see. In our class, we often go on excursions to see different art forms, ranging from galleries to public arts, plays, and operas. We got our inspiration from our groupmate Enming, who instead of simply taking photos of the art pieces, would take photos of the viewers or in ways that highlighted his perception of the art. We wanted to go even deeper than that in our project and explore how different perspectives may impact how we interpret or feel about each different form/piece of art.
