The European Hornet, is not native to New York or the US. Yet, it is clear that they are a thriving species. In this paper we aim to explain the factors that allow European hornets to thrive, so that we can understand how they adapt to new locations. We aim to explain why a non native species has seen so much growth and success in its non-native habitat and we aim to understand the components that are essential for European hornet life.
