My project is a three-minute video describing Ishay Ribo. He is a French-Israeli singer and musician whose heartfelt and catchy tunes have gained popularity amongst secular and religious Jews in both Israel and abroad. I want people to take away that music that is “religious” is not only enjoyable to religious people. Judge music based on its quality!! My process for directing this video included researching the artist and pulling clips of his live performances and music videos, plus pictures, to expose the audience to Ribo in different mediums.
