The goal of our project is to highlight the important values that ballet teaches, and further connecting it to our Macaualy students. We chose this topic because although we learned about dance in our seminar, our class didn’t touch upon ballet. As someone loves dance, I wanted to learn more about the ballet art form. Avigayil and I decided to delve into the world of NYC Ballet by focusing on one of the most prominant ballet schools: Joffrey Ballet School. We researched the program’s founders, key figures, schedules, lessons, and values.
