With the uprising in protests around the world and in our own community, we have realized how protesting can be a form of art and how influential it is. We thought we can also inspire viewers to speak out on what they feel passionate about, and that might include using art. For this project, we decided to display this topic in the form of a zine because we learned about making zines in our ENGL110H class and thought it would be the perfect medium. We chose to use canva because the templates they had for zines correlated well with our topic. Overall, the process of making this zine took a long time because we had to analyze and describe the art work. However, we enjoyed the process of creating our zine because we got to discover new ideas and the meaning behind the art we chose.
