We examine the impact of Emerald Ash Beetles (EAB) on Ash Tree populations in New York through iNaturalist. EAB has caused widespread death of Ash Trees across the Northeastern United States, causing detrimental effects to the ecosystem and to our economy. Our goal was to examine the EAB’s impact in New York specifically, by tracking how the Ash tree population has changed since the invasion began.
