We combined Festejo music and dance from Peru and falafels from Egypt in a food truck dance floor mash-up. The food truck sells falafel spiced with Peruvian flavors and served with Peruvian sauces like Aji Verde. There is also festejo music played in the background for people to enjoy while eating.
We want people to see that different cultures and people can coexist in harmony and come together to create new things. Since we were designated our respective cultures and cultural aspects, we were able to focus on creating a new idea on how to merge them. After debating on multiple ideas, we settled on creating a food truck that would showcase both cultures respectively, merging them to create a unique experience and unique flavors.
