New York City is home to a vast variety of aquatic species. These species often require specific environmental conditions in order for them to thrive. However, New York is also a city that is quite known to be polluted, whether this be the result of garbage on the ground or pollutants in the air. Studies have shown that this pollution has a negative effect on these aquatic species. This project goes to investigate the correlation between this pollution (dissolved oxygen, to be specific) and its effects on these aquatic species.
