New York City is not the typical habitat you’d expect for bats and yet there’s a recurring, thriving community of them here. As it’s such an unexpected environment for bats to live, we wondered how the light pollution, among other factors, of the city would affect their variation compared to that of areas with less light pollution. We compared the levels of light pollution in various places, both urban and rural areas, in New York and Austin, Texas. We think people will be curious to know not only that there are bats living in the city, but what kinds of bats and how the conditions here cause that to differ from places outside of New York.

Hi,
I think your hypothesis is super interesting and honestly your topic overall is super fun. The poster is not only well organized and easy to read but the bat photos are a super cute detail. I really enjoyed the way you displayed your data and overall I think you had a really interesting topic with great data to back it up!
