Urbanization is changing the biodiversity and environmental makeup of the world. One example of this is its impact on bee diversity. Our research aims to explore and analyze the change in bee diversity in response to urban environments such as NYC. By analyzing this relationship, we can gain insights into the effects of urbanization on bee populations and the potential repercussions for our environment. We wanted to pick this topic because it felt relevant in the city. From there, we analyzed bioblitz data and compared it with data we found from our online resource about bees in suburb areas.

Hi,
I think this is a very visually appealing research poster; the little bees in the center are super cute and really add to the design. I think your data in your results column is very well explained and the graphs do a great job of explaining the points you were trying to make. Overall I really enjoyed this post since I love bees and I think your future research was super thought provoking!

I really love the graphic components of your poster! The color palette that you guys incorporated throughout, the bee photos in the center, and the honeycomb text boxes give the poster a very coordinated, well-thought-out feel. I also thought the topic was very interesting. I have always found bees to be very fascinating and it is surprising to find out that urban areas don’t harm bee diversity.
